Ignition Entertainment announced today that it would be releasing Fatal Fury: Battle Archives Vol.1 for the PlayStation 2 across Europe this August.
The retro complication includes arcade perfect conversions of the following classic brawlers: Fatal Fury, Fatal Fury 2, Fatal Fury Special and Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory.
Additionally, the game will include arranged soundtracks, a character customisation feature, as well as the ability to play as bonus fighter, Ryo Sakazaki.
Ignition’s Product Manager, Peter Rollinson, commented: "The Fatal Fury franchise contains a real piece of SNK's history.”
"It was these games that helped mould the successful gaming track record that SNK enjoys."
Stay tuned.

How about the entire SNK fighting game compilation on one BD for the PS3? (non-HD so it'll all fit in!)
@Solrac there is a mortal combat vs dc is coming
@RuiyJr, you are kidding, right? He asks for Marvel vs. Capcom and you reply with a MK vs DC... I hope you are kidding, it is funny. (FYI, I know that game is coming, but as a Marvel vs. Capcom fan I can tell you, you cannot compare one and the other.)
@mikeghtmare ... RuiyJR apparently isn't as much as a NERD as you are to worry about the difference between Marvel and DC.
why not throw in samurai showdown also!!!!
LOL at the Battle of the Stupids going in this thread, Nerdom ahoy!! Well I think I saw this at a Gamestop I went to yesterday, pretty big deal for us SNK/Capcom fighting gamers.
