well i used to work at a circuit city and we lost a ps3 to a customer after like 2 months. no one was at customer service or the front of the store so he just walked behind and took it and walked off with a free ps3. it hapens just message me about the 40inch sony lcd tv that got stolen from our store

i hope his ps3 fails on him, or chews up his blu-ray discs or something bad

no hes obviusly poor he wont be able to afford ps3 games so he'll sell it or just knick the games as well.

Kinda pointless story and an event that happened 2 weeks ago. So I gotta wonder why this news item.

What about making up a story about a man who farted whilst waiting in line to pay for his PS3 which he purchased using money he made by selling his hairy buttocks to a dirty little 3 foot Irish dwarf with a 12" penis and a rock hard Wii... He really needed to go to the crapper afterwards but was soooo desperate for a PS3 that he stood there with a big dirty brown grogan hanging half way out of his bum which eventually broke and flopped out onto the ladies shoe who was standing behind him . The lady was 72 years old and almost died from a heart attack had it not been for her steely resolve to stay in line & buy a PS3 to use at home as a super-computer to find a cure for cancer - an illness inflicting her sick maggot infested silky terrier which she keeps warm in the microwave oven at her flat in Liverpool England which she shares with an obese Turkish belly dancer – a woman who also wants a PS3 herself so that she can enjoy porno lesbian Bluray movies with her 72 year old lover with a penchant for wearing a 2 foot strap on Polish salami - sort of a - home made double ended dildo permanently attached under the old ladies dress. But because the 72 year old was having a heart attack the salami fell out onto the floor and was picked up by a passing PS3 loving shop lifter who jumps the counter to hit the store keeper on the head and make off with the PS3 loot. Problem was the salami was covered in lubricants from the old woman so it slipped out of the thief's hand and went flying out the shop window and smashing the windscreen of a bus packed with drunk Italian soccer fans traveling a good 20 miles per hour over the speed limit. The salami passes through the windscreen and lodges in the cranial cavity of the driver killing him instantly. The bus drives into the shop and explodes killing 31 stocked PS3's waiting for collection by eager fans – an utter tragedy! In addition; 4,722 stocked Nintendo Wii's were also injured in the blast.

That would be a better story...

my local gaming shop had 5 ps3s stolen. and the robbers had guns.

All gamestop and EB games employees are scrubs. He tried to stop the robber from stealing the PS3 because it would have counted as a PS3 sale.

Chances are he's justgoing to take it and sell it on ebay or some nonsense. You dont commit violent robbery to hang on to what you stole you do it because you;re desperate for something else...probably crack.

He didn't try to take a 360 from the stacked up display in the middle of the store?

Now that's saying something.

(at least around here the Gamestops have had displays stacked up of 360's in the middle or towards the back of some of their stores.)

This is bad news?  Wouldn't this be good good that another person became part of the PS3 install base? (albeit not paying for it)  Sony already got its money from GameStop so I think it's all good.  All the people I've seen work there are 360 fanboys anyway.
