Was the hype justified?Sega is allegedly planning on remaking the original Sega Saturn classic Nights: Journey Into Dreams for PlayStation 2, according to reports from the latest issue of Famitsu magazine.
Due for release in Japan on 21 February 2008, the PS2 remake will feature improved visuals, 16x9 wide screen support in addition to a gallery and movie viewer option. It is currently unknown whether or not the game will feature any new levels.
The game will be available as a standalone release for JPY 3,800 or bundled with a picture book for JPY 4,800.

What? I dont think so. Sorry but this is way to late and isnt that fantastic.
PS2 still has life in it and that's great to see. If I do decide to pick it up, I'll be playing it on my PS3 however. I wish Sega would put a few titles on the PSN (Streets of Rage for instance).

Isn't the Original called NiGHTS into Dreams? Journey OF Dreams is the Wii sequel
it's only fitting that Sega is bringing this game to the Monster that buried them; the PS2.

1.) I loved this game (still have the saturn version and play it) and 2.) since PS2 is region locked, who cares!

honestly this game would be better on ps3. talk about eye candy.
