PS2 Nights remake to include Christmas Nights

Posted on December 14th, 2007 at 09:08 EDT

The forthcoming Japanese release of the PlayStation 2 remake of Nights: into Dreams will also come bundled with an additional mode of play called Christmas Dream, Sega of Japan announced today.

Christmas Dream is based off the Christmas Nights bonus disk featured in the original Sega Saturn version of Nights, and features a snow-covered world to explore along with a Santa-themed costume for the main character.

In order to access the special mode, which also features improved visuals over the original release, players will first have to complete the main adventure.

Nights: into Dreams is scheduled to launch in Japan on 21 February 2008. A western release has yet to be announced.
