They are still creating new games for the ps2, just shows how amazing the system was !
They closing it just to not lose money with games that no one plays SOCOM and so on still has online so no need to worry :)
So hot shots golf on the ps3 wasnt the first one online? I wanna try it now.
feel bad for the ppl that still play socom 2
Ya they are just games that no one really plays.
PSN: DarkJ3JB
Doesn't really bother me.
Jak X was the game I played online most on the PS2...
Man, if the old online community was as big as it is now, games would probably have sold more! In almost none of my games, people played online!
Whew, Socom 2 is not on the list. I still play that game, and there are a lot of other people that do too!
yeah i wish playing ps2 games in ps3 no sign outs from psn
Wait... PSU, your only putting this up now? I've heard this a while back mon!!!
Well, that was just a small list of games, but I think that SCEA's shutting down of certain game servers is just a way of nudging current PS2 owners to get a PS3. I think that one reason why some PS2 owners are still holding on to their PS2's and not getting PS3's is because PS2 games are still coming out and they're just content with playing PS2 games for now. Plus, the PS2's lifecycle will be about over in another year or two. I'm sure that games like SOCOM will be up and running until the PS2's lifecycle ends.
i know this is not the list but they closed down tony hawks american wasteland i used to love doing parkour online and also skate and also they were some awesome people i used to talk to on there !!!. why can't sony leave the good games alone for

Getting rid of the servers of the games no one plays on, smart move! Microsoft turned off all of it, every Xbox title that was online.
THe only one I would play is TMB and I don't even have the game.
I never got to play Jak X online, What a bummer =(
not Amplitude! that was awesome online, might get back into it now..
wtf is "this is football"?
about time for sony to shut down the old servers.
even though its weird they keep releasing new ps2 titles......hmm
