Silent Hill 4: The Room Cheats

Brand New Fear Mode:

Finish the game once on any difficultly then save the game to your memory card. You can then start a new game under this new mode.

Chainsaw:

Complete the game once and this weapon will appear in the Forest World next to Jaspers Rock in your next game. The Chainsaw is a powerful melee weapon that previously appeared in Silent Hill 2, and is best used against isolated opponents in close quarters.

One Weapon Mode:

Complete the game with a rank of nearly 100 (perfect score) As the name implies, this unique mode allows the player to pick only one weapon with them for their next game, sans the regular pistol.

Machine Gun:

To unlock this automatic weapon, you must finish the game once and acquire at least nine stars; the machine gun can then be found in room 102 in the Apartment World.

New Costumes:

Eileen: To unlock an alternate costume for Eileen, head through the game on Brand New Fear Mode, and obtain the Nurses Costume in Room 303 of the Hospital World. Finally, finish the game and it will then become available.

Cynthia: Finish the game approximately four times over to unlock Cynthia’s lingerie costume.

Full Weapon Mode:

Acquire a 100 rank in One Weapon Mode. As you might have guessed, Full Weapon Mode is the exact opposite of One Weapon Mode.

Game Endings:

Escape – Ensure you looking after Eileen throughout the game when you accompany her, and be sure to keep your room in the best of shape as possible. Escape is the ‘good’ ending.

Mother – As with the above, ensure you take good care of Eileen but neglect the state of Henry’s room.

Eileen’s Death – Employ the opposite of the above; disregard Eileen, but manage the condition of your room sufficiently.
21 Sacraments – Neglect both Eileen and Henry’s room. This is the game’s ‘bad’ ending.
