This game is one of the reasons I just bought my PS3 last month and will be the first brand new game I purchase (rather than second hand).  Hopefully it does better than expected so that EA's takeover attempt is destroyed.

They got my 60 everytime a gta game came out. Or 50 for ps2... what eva the price was at that time they got it. and I hope they do the release of the First gta ONE that was one ps1 and bring  it to the psn store for the 5.99!! Come on SONY listen to me bring it to the psn store.

GTA IV will do really well no doubt about it, but i think MGS4 will break all records within the gaming industry for the simple fact that it will mark a revolutionary step into the whole game/movie scene. With this movement that games will start to make it can push sales way above what they are now.

Pffftt.... $89 is nothing, the collector's edition is going for a whoppin $159.99 here in the Bahamas, but I think I will get mines from ebay...should total into about $120 in total after frieght and duty.

I think they will get more than 400, because its $60 a game and they're shiping 5.5 million in one week. I think they will sell all of them.

I don't think that GTA4 will sell 6 million copies in the first week.... I think that estimate is a little too optimistic. I'm thinking it will sell around 3-4 million the first week.

And I had no idea that Halo 3 generated 300 million dollars in sales. There have been better games released than Halo 3 that deserve sales numbers like that, but Halo 3 was pretty much nothing but hype and media anyways, and that's what sold the game.

theyll have to sell more than 6 mil the first week to break 400 mil. If they were to get the full $60 on the game (which they dont) theyd have to sell 6,666,666 games. lol

They have my $90, as soon as I get it.  I don't think it's fair though to compare a 2 system game with an exclusive game.

EA thinking on makeing a console, if they do they are buying companys left and right, talking about takeing alot of exclusive games with them maddens and gta n most ea games
