News of a sequel to comic book-inspired The Darkness has surfaced over the weekend at the recent New York City Comic Con event.
The following is an excerpt from website TheQuarterBin:
There is a Darkness video game sequel in the works. They made the announcement saying, “We can’t say Darkness and video game sequel in the same sentence. So, Darkness. Wink. Sequel.”
While this isn’t quite the same calibre as an official press announcement, it certainly seems to confirm that a sequel to the action title is in the works.
Developed by Starbreeze Studios, the original Darkness title was released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2007. The game takes the form of a First-Person Shooter where players assume control of Jackie Estacado; a hitman possessed by a powerful, supernatural spirit dubbed “The Darkness.”
Stay tuned for more information as it breaks.

I never played the first one, was it any good? I have never herd much about it. I have seen it around but didn't no if it was any that great.
It was fun but pretty repetitive
The first one was awesome (except for the stange dream type missions in the middle). Cant wait for a sequel.
