Was the hype justified? The official website for Twisted Metal: Head On Extra Twisted Edition, which also features a blog from creator David Jaffe, has now gone live. The site features information on gameplay, in addition to screenshots, videos, and soundtrack. The layout is pretty well put together, so be sure to check it out by clicking here.
Twisted Metal: Head On Extra Twisted Edition is more than just a port from the PSP version. Extra Twisted Edition features an abundance of content including four never before seen “Lost” levels which were created for Twisted Metal: Black, but were never released. In addition to another all new Twisted Metal: Head On level which was never released for the PSP version, gamers will be treated with the ability to take the character, Sweet Tooth, to explore locales on foot for the very first time. To top it all off, packaged alongside the game will be an art book featuring concept art from the entire franchise.
This is the ultimate experience for the ultimate Twisted Metal fan. Expect this to drop for the PlayStation 2 February 5, 2008.
